The Guilt Trip

Po: I wish we could get the Mario or Luigi costume for Halloween.
Daddy: Yeah, me too, but it's too expensive.
Po: But the DS was even more expensive and you got it for me.
Daddy: Yes, because you play it all the time it was worth it. You'll only wear the Halloween costume one day and then never again - it's not worth it.
[pause while Powie is deep in thought]
Po: If my child asked for it I would buy it for them.
[long lecture about budgets and frugality ensues]
Po: When I grow up I'll have millions and millions of dollars and I'll let my child have anything they want. If they ask me for something I will stop what I am doing and take them to a store where they can get it.
Daddy: You'll be a very popular daddy.
Po: Except when the mommy yells at the baby. That's when the baby has been bad so he gets no toys.
